I have di/di identical twins and I run into other twin families all the time who say their twins are fraternal when I am looking at the two most identical babies I’ve ever seen in my life. People still don’t know anything about twins!

This isn’t even a conspiracy theory at this point. I truly believe they’re most likely identical twins! The chances of them being fraternal and looking that identical is way less probably than them just being actually identical

Tia and Tamera thought they were fraternal and found out they were identical with DNA testing and i was fully convinced after that the Olson's were identical..same with some "fraternal" twins I went to school with who looked identical.

It’s quite possible. I’m a twin born in 1988 but my mother was told back then that we were fraternal (di di). DNA test done a few years ago showed that we are actually identical.

Isn't how the eggs happened in mom? identical twins are one egg that splits. fraternal twins are just where the mom popped two eggs and they both fertilized. that's why you can get a male and female on fraternal twins. AKA in my generation Brandon and Brenda Walsh 90210 infamous twin duo.

WOW I’m a di/di twin and everyone said we looked identical but we weren’t! And I never saw it! But now we look the same and I can’t tell some of our childhood photos apart! I could be identical!?!

Yes, totally agree with you! it's so funny how people get so stuck on something since they heard it once. It's the same people that will also say identical twins isn't genetic when newer research shows it is and can be both on the material OR fraternal side- signed wife of a identical (and auntie to identicals)

I JUST watched It Takes Two again and now I’m a twin mom so I know so much more and it’s wild that they could even be fraternal. They are identical and you can’t convince me otherwise.
