Doing the same this week but plan on using canvas tacked up to the studs for walls and I got the foam flooring from a tools store for the floor!

We moved into my childhood house when I was 2yrs old, and it didn't have a finished basement til I was in middle school. Before that, it looked exactly like this. I roller skates and rode bikes down there, and had my Barbie land all set up. It was truly the best!

careful putting porous material directly on what looks like cement foundation of a basement - you will need a vapor barrier otherwise over time mold will grow
