Depression is a disease of the mind that cannot be cured, but it slowly improves with time. It gradually consumes the body and the thoughts, corrupting without haste, almost imperceptibly. Sometimes it arrives by surprise, so discreet that it is not noticed at first. It can be born from many places: trauma, family, environment, school, work, relationships — or from all of them together, in silence. Fear, anger, and sadness walk side by side with it. Fear keeps us from asking for help, from speaking out loud what echoes inside us. Anger transforms accumulated sadness, releasing what we can no longer hold. And fear remains, steady, holding us back through the fear of judgment, of conflicts, of being distanced from those we love, of not finding the comfort we seek — someone to welcome us, someone to hold us firmly. The fear of speaking and reaching out to someone plants deep doubts. The signs of depression blend with uncertainty, with paranoia. This doubt stays hidden for far too long, far too long for a mind left alone. Sadness grows, becomes heavier, and then the questions arise: “If I have good things, why do I feel this way? Why does this weight insist on staying in my heart?” And still, you remain silent. You keep it inside. Until the container overflows and the questions change their shape — and desires begin to threaten one’s own life. Depression is rarely spoken about, yet it is deeply serious. It can begin at any age, even in a child, a ten-year-old girl — or younger. The desire to share the pain grows, but insecurity grows alongside it. Mental health can break over the smallest details: an argument, insecurity about one’s own body, a misunderstanding, a bad day, or even a day that is too good. And still, it can generate more harm: insecurities, doubts, the mind creating negative factors. And when the question arises: “Do I deserve this?” The symptoms are many: constant exhaustion, lethargy, forgetfulness, isolation, continuous sadness, lack of motivation, anger, and the cruel feeling of uselessness, of becoming nothing in the future. Some are visible, clear. But there is another side — the unspoken, the invisible. Sometimes, the ones who smile the most are the ones who suffer the most inside. It can lead us to painful actions, to harming our own bodies, to threatening our own lives — the result of trapped, accumulated feelings that grow until they can no longer be contained. ─────────────── Depression is serious. It is something that needs to be spoken about, to be cared for, and to receive professional help. Talk to someone — someone you trust, someone who can help you.Remember: you are important. Your life is important. If you wish to talk to me, you can express yourself. I am a good listener, and I want to help everyone who needs it. ─────────────── #flowertrend #edit #fyp
