I'm there... but I fight to stay every day. It's not easy as I'd rather join my 21 yo son who chose to check out in 2021. No passion & no desires & no social interests. I avoid people most or all of the time. If I make it, it'll be a miracle!

When I was younger my dad killed himself. That morning he called off work and told the whole family he was sick. When I went to say bye to him before I left he was completely expressionless and his eyes looked empty, same look when someone is black out drunk. I’ll never forget that look but then I blamed myself for not picking up on that and putting two and two together

My dad took his life last December. That morning he was like a zombie. Flat affect. Eyes vacant . . . . it didn’t occur to me that he was planning to do that within hours. It’s devastating.

Using Robin Williams is a bad example and other people that find out that they have a bad disease that's going to leave them in a horrible position, talking about people that have nothing wrong with them physically but all mentally that's a different story.

Its actually weird that people assume that someone who presents themselves well won't just end it because theres actually no connection between your social presentation and what you think or feel or what you will do when you feel like doing it.
