The tax man takes 15% of every cent I make for Vat, for every Rand profit tax man takes 45c, then we have to pay UIF, workmans compensation, our insurance is moer expensive because its for business use, banks don't want to loan small businesses. I am trying to understand the taxi industry and not an attack but why must the taxi industry don't have to go through the same stuff normal business have to go through.

Dont forget Taxicops. A taxi from Pretoria to Tzaneen will be stopped under every bridge after every tollgate and under every large tree adding an hour or more to the journey for people who still need to catch other taxis when they arrive at the next rank
