How do you keep it clean and algae free? I had a beta that I loved but I couldn’t stop the algae from getting out of control and started having to do weekly cleans and I think that killed them. I would love to have one like this but Im scared to hurt another beta 😣

I do recommend a small sponge filter to keep beneficial bacteria cycling and add a gentle bit of oxygen flow

Hola buenas, tengo una pregunta. Tenia un beta hembra y cinco neones con cuatro miki mouse en el mismo acuario y el beta se murió primero y justo ayer todos los sifones y creo que es porque no se cambiar el agua correctamente. Yo dejo el agua del grifo (soy de Sevilla) reposar un dia entero y cambio todo el agua cada 4 o 5 dias cada vez que está sucia. comen bien pero ya es que me dan pena que mueran. el filtro está puesto todo el dia y está tapado pero no del todo. alguien puede ayudarme? me gustaría que los 4 micky mouse no mueran al menos. el acuario es de unos 40litros
