I have a 840 g5 that can't load windows on its own or using bootable USB I can access bios though so it's not bios related. Now are these enough symptoms to suggest a dead ssd, and if so do they die so suddenly

CMOS battery cannot be recharged, they are made of lithium manganese dioxide, during discharge the lithium anode is consumed in a one way reaction. you can fabricate a custom rechargable CMOS battery though 😂
