True but at the same time I think that they would've added more if they saw it fit. For me, Madarame as a character doesn't really need a reason to be the way he is. He just does something bc he wants to. And the route (in the structure + events) plays that perfectly, in a way I think it's supposed to be boring and shitty to some extent which shows that Towa is never bored even if it's the same feeling of pain over and over again, and we kind of get to feel the torture alongside him? As in the feeling of being just locked up, bored. It provokes emotion. Bad emotion, drain. Which is good since it's the desired effect the game wants here.
