Thank you for this! as a mom of 2 boys I have been so frustrated by this culture not understanding boys and expecting them to behave just like girls or its seen as bad behavior. I do not excuse poor behavior in my boys and teach them kindess, empathy, and discipline. They can be well behaved and still be more energetic that is normal childhood development for them not bad behavior.

school was created for just boys in the 1900s and it has stayed largely the same. if boys then could do it then boys today can do it no?

I made a comment on a teacher’s TikTok (basically shaming boys over their bathroom pass being more tattered than the girls) I said how my son has had nothing but female teachers since kindergarten and he noticed they almost always play favorites with the girls. And how we need more men in grade school education. And that school is not set up for how boys are wired. And I am getting ripped apart in the comments. All the women attacking me because they assumed I’m a man (I am not) or assumed my son is a trouble maker (he is not. Never been in trouble once, straight a student) or that I am a toxic “boy mom” I also have a daughter and she noticed the same thing 🤷♀️

Thank you! I am with you. Those gender differences can also be seen in academic performances. How about you mix ages? Boys enter schools one year later? The differences would be smaller?

Thank you so much for this!! My son just turned 3. I always thought something was wrong because sometimes he would start a craft or puzzle but then a minute later be up running around. We read books and 2 minutes later he’s off to do something else. I always thought why can’t he pay attention to the task. Thank you so much 😊

Ive had 2 girls & about to have our first boy this month. I keep training my brain to understand raising him will be so much different. My girls talked so early & easy to teach. I know he will walk sooner than them but talking will come later. I have to keep this all in mind, thank you for sharing!

what are some daily exercises for my toddler boy to do to stay active and I've even heard do before bed? he also has a sister that is two years older. I've been thinking about doing morning dancing and exercising, I just need to get my bum to it. I think it would be good for me too 😆.
