I remember in the early 90s my city in China looked the same, same practices and behaviors, dont make fun of India, their economy is growing fast, laws and standards always play catch up in a fast growing economy.

India is extremely affordable for foreign travelers. If someone still insists on choosing the cheapest options, they shouldn’t be surprised by the experience. It feels less like honest travel and more like intentionally highlighting negatives for views.
