The hike to Lake Michigan is beautiful in the winter!! All the sand is frozen, and it’s like walking on concrete out to Lake Michigan. It’s so nice

whoa why have I never thought of the dunes as sledding hills!!! I see people do climb back up...in the snow 😲 Do people wear spiked boots? Sand is tough, can't imagine on packed snow/ice
