Lab diamonds are not chemically the same. Lab diamonds don’t contain nitrogen, earth diamonds do. Most lab-growns are also artificially treated afterward to improve their grade. Lab ‘diamonds’ are not diamonds. It’s a cheap option. If people are worried about ethical standards then find a jeweler that buys into the Kimberley process, a system created to ensure that diamonds are sourced and traded ethically.

It’s a matter of preference, they’re the same. I have a mined because at my time labs weren’t a thing but have lab studs and a new ring and love them - I personally rather spend money elsewhere.
