I met Slash in 1998 on my first trip to LA at a bar and he was the sweetest guy invited me to sit and chat with them. Talk to me about the music he was working on which was his first snake pit. just about 10 minutes, but I’ve never met a nicer rocker until finally enough. I became friendly with Dave Kushner who’s also one of the sweetest people you’d ever meet. Sometimes you should meet your hero heroes

The hardest truth is that probably a lot of it isn’t fun, especially after a few years. They’re clocking into a day at the office, living out of a suitcase, going from being screamed at by 100,000 people to silence the next day. Trying not to get addicted to anything in the process.
