When I read the burning I hated the wolves, then every book to come after during the heresy shows you just how deep these guys that are labeled as killers really are. I haven’t hit the siege yet but so far every space wolves book has had me more satisfied then an imperial fist book

people forget Russ has supposedly killed 2 brothers before, his cleansing of prospero i think left a mark because he felt it was wrong and he began to doubt and when he fought horus and talked to purified spirit of horus it accidentally weighted even more heavily sue due to the doubt that was already there
