@sarahbanksie: Here is exactly how I sleep trained my baby in 5 simple steps using the Ferber method!!! Save this and send to your pregnant or new mom friends!! #sleeptraining #ferbermethod #babysleep #babysleeptips #babysleephelp
I started on a Monday doing the ferber method for nap time. And by Wednesday he was doing amazing. So I did it at night time. He went to sleep @9:15 pm and slept until 8am!!! I didn’t feel comfortable waiting 10 minutes so I did 2,4,6 and after 6 minutes I would go in and him pickup and rock for 1 minute then start over again. LOVE THIS METHOD!!🫶🏼🩵🩵

Letting your kids cry and self soothe themselves to bed causes a bunch of complications when they grow up. They end up anxious, easily over stimulated adults. Look it up, this isn’t the best way….

This method is horrible! Is everything they don’t recommend in Europe !!! I’ll never do that! It only teaches your baby that if he cries (a need at this age) you, as a parent, you’re not gonna respond to their needs ! 😳😳 OMG

What do you do when he’s crying so hard and almost hyperventilating. In only 4 mins. How do you not pick them up and console them? It’s not easy.

People don’t seem to remember that you do go back in and check. They get hung up on letting them cry. But you go back in them to remind them that you’re still there and they are safe. They’ll be ok. I also wouldn’t start this to soon. You could never expect a newborn to sleep through the night. But if your kid is about a year old or are capable of sleeping through the night. It’s time. I ALSO give the the happiest wake up when they wake up after the nap or sleep. A big HIIIIIIII good mornin!!! I love you.

See idk how this would work because most babies the more they cry the more worked up they get and then the harder it is to get them calmed back down. I go to mine when she just starts fussing for anything and I feel like that’s helped prevent any meltdowns. She rarely ever cries unless it’s the evening then sometimes she’s a gremlin

This method has worked a treat for my now 6 month old. We started at 5.5 months, she use to fall asleep on the bottle, needed to rocked etc woke a million times ! We did this method & within 1 night & 1 day (naps) she is sleeping 6+hours & waking once for a feed. The first night is the “hardest” but if you can get through that they really do learn that it’s bedtime etc !

My baby is 3 months old. I’m gonna try this cause he’s recently been starting to wake every hour and not wanting to be put down I’m thinking he’s in sleep regression so hopefully it works🤞🏼

My baby is 6 months old and she is having the separation anxiety so idk if I should do this now. Also she really sleeps while feeding but I want to try this to be more free and give her more autonomy. We share room that’s can be a problem ?
