Just had an unmedicated birth (not planned). I was terrified when they told me. I thought I wasn’t strong enough to do it, I had 1 minute long contraction, pushed 3 times and my baby boy was here. The most rewarding feeling, I couldn’t stop crying.

Sisters if you wanna go unmedicated, all of this information is so helpful!! But don’t make the decision on a whim and “try to how it goes”. Commit, educate and pray up! It’s gonna be easy to give up during labor, a strong mind will carry you through.

Fees :
Going for the 3rd unmedicated birth (baby #4) in a few weeks. The first was a complete accident, but seeing how easy it was after the fact compared to medicated, I can never look back.

Thanks for your info! I’m currently 36+6 with my second baby. Planning another unmedicated birth! My first was induction at 36 weeks for growth issues and preeclampsia so I’m hoping this second one will be an even better experience 🥰

My first unmedicated birth- the first doctor who was helping me in the hospital looked and acted like Miss Trunchball from the movie Matilda and THANK THE LORD she left after a few hours and I had an angel midwife deliver my baby. Praying for another angel this time around (due any day). ✨
