It's not age, it's amount of relationships. If one or both people have been through multiple, the chances of something lasting just plummets. This is why the whole body count thing comes up too, because high count with low relationships, the chances are even less. People are all about fun right now but they don't realize they're trading several years of fun for 50 years of loneliness.
