You do know you guys can get take out? Same food without the expectation to tip. Dining in and getting -key word-“SERVED” is a luxury not a need. Having ur water filled every 2 seconds before it can be empty and being waited on is a luxury not the food. No matter where u go in the world if u are CHOOSING to get a luxury service u should tip obviously only if said service was good ofc

I definitely tip. However, that tip is a direct reflection of how the service is. I've noticed in recent years the quality of service has gone waaaay down. As if they don't even care about a tip themselves.

No one is obligated to tip, and that’s the issue, people think they’re entitled to it, no you’re entitled to get paid from whoever hired you, me tipping is optional, my only obligation is to pay for my meal this is just facts wether you like it or not.

(As a previous server) if you don’t tip you dn shouldn’t go out to eat at a restaurant 🤣 servers don’t make survivable living off of the hourly pay .. on top of the fact we have to dn pay for your dining experience by paying out 2% of our tips to Bussers & 1% to bar (depending on your restaurant) so we dn LOSE money if you tip less than $5 🤣 and at some restaurants servers don’t even get the hourly pay check bc of pay outs … we literally live off of our tips
