Now look at the price of joint or GP compound and long they keep compared to Filla. The Filla will also take paint sooner & better. Never had a problem sanding it. Small jobs only need a small amount of Filla. I’d only buy joint or skim coat compound if actually doing plastering.

This is what I use… rapid dry, great to sand and paint.. I’ve bogged up a heap of huge holes in my 120 year old house..

With the multipurpose joint compound do you scoop out and apply or do you mix it back and forth on trowels first before applying? Cheers

omg I wish I had found you 3 days ago. Ive just done a kitchen wall and where Ive used the filler I can still still see it through 2 prime coats and 2.top coats of paint. im done! Defeated :(

Thanks…. I need this. I always can see were I filler on our walls. My son’s room looks like a golf ball. Would love a video to show me how to do this properly. The walls are shocking in WA. You numb it and there is a hole.
