Why would you complain about this? The teacher is clearly trying to get the student to succeed and get a higher grade by addressing the assignment rubric better.

As an art teacher. The rubric is what we use to standardize grades because art is a very subjective class so we need common elements to grade on. It is also so we can teach you the concept and correct mistakes before they become a permanent part of your work. So if an art teacher emphasizes the rubric and says you aren't following take their advice.

as someone who is graduating from multimedia arts and learned and improved. if you're not properly following directions, don't expect a good grade. your work can be good and can be great but remember to follow instructions while you do so. learning about the basics in art and keeping it in mind in your work is key to have better art in the long run. if you don't trust it and want to keep straying away from rubrics and instructions given to you, you might not survive professional work....
