most of our grandparents had a life that was more traumatic and more brutal than we could ever imagine. I heard the story's of the depression and the dust bowl. the scariest is the lack of food.

Only my dad’s parents stayed together. And grandma’ supported grandpa in his final years, she supported him when he struggled with depression he was not aloud to talk about when he was younger man. They are the only reason I believe unconditional love once existed.

Men want to be respected and it’s an inherent character for men to want to be a provider, also it’s biblical. Once you try to strip that away from a man and try to be independent from him, then your relationship is already failing. If your man loves you and treats you like his church and loves to provide, there’s no reason to try and take on his role of the man unless you don’t trust Gods teaching and prefer living in fear. I think women truly have it all misunderstood and twist and want to act like they don’t need a man, or want to prepare for not having a man and then that’s what actually manifests and then live a life complaining about men whilst not making room in a their life for a man or even self sabotaging. Everyone’s expectations and priorities are misplaced this day in age. Very upside down.

your vision is pretty narrow on the topic. love does exist. family roles do exist. honor does exist and loyalty certainly does. so do their opposites. I know my grandmother's werent trapped. ill give you a thought experiment. my father's parents were together their entire lives. my father was the only 1 to have separation in family. my mother's mother was married 5 times. my mother split up with my father and as much as I know now about the 2 of them I have a hate towards my mother for doing what she did to my father who despite not being perfect he was a good man. I grew up bouncing 2000kms every summer being passed off from parent to parent. every year a new home, new school. I try to live my life as honest and loyally as I can. all I know is betrayal from entitled women. im not violent. im not aggressive. I do what I can to provide and I dont ask for much other than their respect and attention.
