@lygaiva: I’m sharing this because it’s easy to forget what progress really looks like. The first clip is from April 2021. I genuinely had no clue what I was doing. I was squatting, yes, but without understanding my body, the movement, or what I was actually trying to achieve. I just showed up and lifted. Fast forward a little over four years to June 2025, and the difference isn’t just strength. It’s awareness. It’s control. It’s understanding how to move under load and how to earn heavier weight instead of chasing it. There were no shortcuts in between. No moment where it suddenly “clicked”. Just a lot of learning, unlearning, stripping things back, and being patient enough to stay consistent even when progress wasn’t obvious. That early squat wasn’t bad, it was necessary. It was part of the process that got me here. If your movement feels messy right now, that doesn’t mean you’re failing. It usually means you’re still learning. And that’s exactly where strength starts.
