When someone is acting that erratic they could pose a danger to anyone who tries to help him. Unless he is in immediate danger they are under no obligation to help. Ultimately he figured it out on his own without getting hurt. Maybe this will teach him a lesson

See he’s drunk and when you’re drunk, you get agitated you get belligerent real quick and I don’t think people wanted to deal with that. But also if he was able to get up on his own, why can’t he do that before? Also, I’m not heartless, but why didn’t anyone help him?
