hotels calling guests a taxi is not their job it's a courtesy. they could say no figure it out yourself. it is not that receptionists fault taxis are turning you away.

Your transfers to and from the hotel is your responsibility why did you not book transfers at time of booking. How your speaking to that hotel receptionist is wrong.

blimey what does a taxi expect to pick up from a hotel to the airport of course you are going to have luggage. happened to us after Christmas taxi refused to take us from hotel.😳

Arrange transfers yourself and make sure you tell them all the info including how many suitcases etc you have. Then you’ll have no one to blame but yourself

That's why I always book my own transfers to the hotel and the return. it's not the hotels fault just say you need a bigger car.
