Mine use some kind of AI to detect noise in the room I’m in and adjust the volume based on that. I didn’t know this app thing was an option? Seems kinda inconvenient to have to mess around with it on your phone constantly

Ik this is old and you probably won’t see the comments but I had a hearing test yesterday was told I should try hearing aids. He explained that my issue was Like yours. But didn’t label it. Just said I might have hidden hearing loss. But I’m nervous and excited to have conversations and not have to guess what people are saying half the time. Even tho I have normal hearing. Except for low sounds. I’m wondering does this actually work really well!? Like will I actually be able to feel like I hear and talk to people without making them repeat themselves 😭

i have CAPD too!! i’ve never met anyone else who has it!! i’ve never considered this as an option to help combat it!

Thank you for sharing, I have CAPD too but I never see anyone talk about it so this made me feel super seen :) I have an ear filter that helps my brain filter out noise!

Oh this is so interesting! I’m fully deaf with bilateral cochlears, and I’ve never heard of this treatment for any sort of APD :0 it’s so interesting the variations of hearing disorders
