The translation statement is a cop out but does hold some context. When you think of how when learning a language a word can have multiple meanings. If for a moment you think that when translating you take the best or closest meaning, especially if there is no equivalent, then translate to several other languages, the true meaning may be skewed. How ever, I think we may be over thinking it and just looking for reasons. Point is: you either believe or do not. At this time I am not sure. 20 years ago I would say not.

There were too many books left out. I’ve read the whole thing but I’m not buying it. Too much missing.

She's right the Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, so some meanings can change in translation. Different languages don’t always translate perfectly.

THE NEW TESTAMENT was written for followers of Jesus Christ and NO ONE ELSE. Jesus is always warning of THE END DAYS and commanding people if they want to be saved they must LEAVE EVERYTHING and follow him which is the definition of REPENTANCE (Mathew 19:16-30). It is not enough to believe that Jesus existed YOU MUST OBEY. James 2:19 says: “You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.” Most Christians reject Jesus and hypocritically say they believe in him but DO NOT BELIEVE ONE WORD HE SAYS. Nor do Christians believe Jesus will rule or has the right to rule Earth and His Kingdom. Even though Daniel 2:44 prophesied the coming of Gods kingdom saying: “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever.” Jesus preached in Mathew 4:17 “REPENT! For the Kingdom of God has drawn near.” Then Jesus asked that we pray for the arrival of Gods Kingdom on Earth in Mathew 6:9,10. And Jesus prophesied that the Kingdom would come after another “Noah’s Day” style End Times destruction comes upon Earth again in Mathew 24:36-39. Jesus commanded his followers to make disciples and teach them to observe his commands in Mathew 28:19,29 and 99.9% of Christians DO NONE OF WHAT JESUS COMMANDED. This why 99.9% of people who hypocritically call themselves Christians will be destroyed when he returns (Revelation 19:14, 15). By their fruits (actions or lack thereof) they show that they are enemies of the kingdom by their lack of obedience (Mathew 7:21-23). By not obeying they show they do not believe in Jesus Christ’s words. And his right to rule over them as KING. John 17:3 says: “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.”
