omg on a local lost and found group, someone posted a cat coming to their back yard asking if it's lost. it was very clearly a well loved, brushed, and fed kitty. and I ended up in a full on fight with some girl in the comments, and with her threatening to steal my outdoor cat if she ever saw it.

The fact so many people are upset about having outdoor cats because 1. You can’t always bring a can’t inside due to living conditions, family, etc. 2. If you are feeding the cat and showing the cat affection it is going to stay around that area meaning it is less likely to get hurt 3. Most cats want to go outside and it can be really hard to stop them
