According to authorities, 10-year-old #RebekahBaptiste ran away from home in October 2024 and approached members of the public seeking assistance, an incident detailed in a police report released by the Phoenix Police Department on Dec. 30, 2025. Rebekah’s father, Richard Baptiste, and his girlfriend, Anicia Woods, are now facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder, child abuse, and child molestation in connection with her death. As previously reported, the pair brought the child to a rural medical facility in Apache County on July 27, 2025, where she was found unresponsive. She was pronounced dead the following day.
