Does anyone else ever geet the sense that some of our parents sacrificed for themselves, truly, they just wanted to have a better life and they were not really thinking about you. Which is valid for them. But they shouldn't lie that the sacrifice was for you or even just for you. It was for themselves. Mine made it a point to say severally throughout my childhood that when they died they would leave all their money to charity (and not that I grew up with financial security with my childhood)
