sometimes, after years of being with 'Dan', I ended up reacting like him. now when I sit here and watch this I feel both terrified and disgusted. All the lies to my friends, all the lies to my family, all the lies to myself. I almost damned turned into him and he almost had me right where he wanted me to prove I was the abuser and I was the crazy one. id stopped wearing makeup, I was collapsing daily, I was a mess, I was a bit crazy....he'd sent me there!!! I've been away from him 6 years. I met another man, he's lovely but he's negligent with my love and when I felt that anger rise inside me again I left because I thought I was gonna turn into that monster again. I don't know when dan stops living inside my automatic panic brain but I hope it's not never. I know it was reactive with dan but it was still abusive and now I doubt if it was me the whole time 😭😭😭 I've done lots of therapy, I guess deep down I know it wasn't me but it was me for a while and I can not shake the guilt. I don't know how Dan went on to do that to more women 😭😭😭
