(not a vegan this isn't an argument against meat) I'm so confused why people are okay with eating some animals and not others? like why are cows pigs and chickens okay but not horses, dogs, or cats?

I used to love the action house where we used to live. Anytime a kill buyer came, EVERYONE would bid those horses up so they wouldn’t get sold to them. Rescues normally took over from there. 💙

If a few horse-loving celebrities became involved their impact would be huge. 📽️🎬

I understand them buying horses that are in really bad condition ( aka would have to be euthanized ) but OUTBIDING people that actually want those horses is evil 😭

Then I see the other side of Tiktok people talking about how much they spend or how much their house is worth. They don't understand that the only reason their horse is worth half that is because the vast majority are going to get harvested. They are livestock you may not like it but it's a necessary evil in the world.

I’m so confused by the idea of people’s pet horses ending up in a sale and being bought for meat?? Isn’t that like very dangerous from a health perspective? Do they know the horses full health history, is it safe for consumption by other animals and humans, are there risks of zoonosis etc.. gosh what a nightmare place 😞
