Subchorionic hematoma/hemorrhage. It’s a blood clot that forms and then can expel and cause bleeding. I’m surprised the first set of doctors never did an ultrasound to see what was causing the bleeding, knowing SCH can be the cause, or even recommend an ultrasound when the bleeding stopped to confirm everything expelled (since they assumed miscarriage).

Same thing happened to me. Was misdiagnosed of miscarriage, they suggested that I take Abortion pills to remove the remaining tissue. I refused, went for second opinion and it turned out to be a subchoronic hematoma.

Really thinking and hoping this is what’s happening with me. I was sent home 2 weeks ago with the same news but my hcg was rising well and I still feel like I am

ALWAYS ask for a ultrasound to confirm miscarriage. I had a miscarriage back in 2021 and I had to find a doctor to do an ultrasound

I had what the doctors called a threatened miscarriage with my youngest daughter. I had signs of miscarriage but she was fine.

I had a miscarriage in 2021 and my provider did an ultrasound after a week to make sure all the tissue had passed. It’s wild that yours just did no testing and just assumed everything.

Happened to me the last two pregnancies, subchorionic hematomas. The first pregnancy I was 12 weeks and woke up covered in blood, lost a clot the size of my fist that I thought was my baby. He’s 5 now. The most recent one, nothing near as bad and he’s 7 months. Super scary!

I had several ultrasounds watching to make sure everything passed between my miscarriages. I’m sorry they didn’t check.
