I try very hard to keep my father's traditions alive, but you're right it'sdifficult. (he was born in Ukraine) and I absolutely love watching the indigenous working at keeping their beautiful traditions alive. Never stop fighting and thank you i belive indigenous studies should be mandatory in schools, because we are on indigenous lands.

It's sad to see the number of people in Alberta, who say we need to stop sending Ukraine help both with money & assistance. Canada has the 2nd largest Ukrainian population outside of Ukraine. I don't know how many times I have said they are OUR people.

This is why education on Indigenous peoples is so important. What happened hundreds of years ago was done in bad faith on Canada's part. I had to take Politics of Indigenous Peoples for my poli sci degree and it taught me a lot. Previously I had to take a different course on Indigenous history for another program. That's why I understand what's going on.
