@lauren_rosborough: Sometimes I don’t even see it. The change. The glow up. The transformations. Not because I’m not looking.. but I see each kid every day, multiple times a day.. and I see them for who they are.. not so much what’s on the outside. And it wasn’t until and I were updating our spreadsheets.. did I truly see each horses change. From their intake photo.. to now. Bruiser included. And with Bruiser.. it’s not even just the weight gain… but his actual colors have changed. Like the light was restored to his coat and mane. And somewhere.. between then and now.. him and I formed this beautiful bond. He follows me everywhere and it wasn’t until just recently where I noticed how deep that bond has formed. I said to him yesterday “oh I didn’t know you loved me this much”.. and he just stared.. as if saying.. “of course I do crazy lady… you’re our mom”. What a gift. Bruiser isn’t quite done healing yet, he will be one of 3 kids who will be starting injections for arthritis (he has an old injury in his back right hock).. and as time goes on.. he will continue to fill out. . . Today is $5 Friday for feed, and we now go through over 130 bags of grain a week. Each bag is $25 a bag, and our goal is to get as many bags sponsored as possible. It’s a big ask.. but I appreciate you all always showing up, no matter how you choose to support us! As I’m typing this, our delivery Love you all! It’s a big day. The stalls are getting built- which should take about a week to finish! .
