If I buy a shade that’s too dark or light, I buy an offsetting shade and mix them. It usually matches my skin tone better, tbh.

You have a few options: you give it to a friend that can use it.You use it to mix with a lighter foundation or a too cool foundation. You buy a blue mixer to adjust the tone and use concealer to adjust the shade. Or you use it to paint with or throw it out. In the end, if its the wrong color. buying more to maybe make it work isnt better or worse than throwing it out now or when it expires. Your best bet is to find someone who does use that shade who will want it and pass it on.

I’m pretty normal on everything but makeup. But I’m working on it, I don’t buy eyeshadow palettes anymore but it’s hard now because ppl know me as the eyeshadow girl and gift me palettes I don’t need 😭
