I've never had an issue with the coop. Yes. All the other titles are kinda bad with coop but elden ring is fine. It's not that difficult.

Summoning has never been garbage yall are just casual and or don’t know how multiplayer zones work in fromsoft games, summoning is and will always be a fun part of the games but the online has always only ever been a plus to the games, they’re made to be played with or without network like other traditional story games

Tbh tho having seamless coop in the base game would make the game worse it’s not made or balanced to be co op outside of boss fights. The seamless co op mod is insanely fun but I would never recommend it to someone for a first run of the game.

its more annoying then bad, like why do I have to drop the flowers to make the powder, but I cant just give the powder to my freind , and constantly having to de-summon and re-summon just to go in a cave or new zone is just tedious, then it force de-spawning after a boss, and not even just the main bosses, any boss 😑

Their games have never been a coop experience. That’s why their focus isn’t on the multiplayer aspect, it’s never been. Which is absolutely fine! It wasn’t until DS2 then subsequently DS1’s DLC that their shift has been more multiplayer oriented. But even still, their curated single player experience is their focus. And always will be. That’s why the coop sucks, because they don’t prioritize it. It’s a drop in, help a buddy out, and leave.

...dude I have deeply played this game with my siblings in co-op. out if my 30+ days in the game at least 15 of it was carrying their game in their world. you just have to communicate 🙄

Those games were never designed to support coop, however I do agree if they carry on with coop I think they should follow the seemless coop mod.

kinda disagree, i feel like the coop in elden i.e. formsoft is more of taste thing. it has such a more different feel to it then others that it has its own charm to it. and while yes the seamless coop is amazing, id never say its required like others would. but when it comes to souls like id much perfer coop handle like this then a bunch of menus as that will always make the game feel disconnected then in the moment for me.

Don’t forget to mention that if defeat certain bosses or if there are no bosses in a certain region it just shuts off co-op all together. Until you hit an unexplored dungeon.
