Anakin was a absolute peak General. But a terrible Jedi. Kanan was as close to the idea of what a Jedi should be as could be. Just as Ashoka and Qui-Gon were. Had they been running the council with yoda I think things would have been different. Too bad Kanan and Ashoka were too young and Qui-Gon dies.

hey not a bold statement at all as far as I'm concerned, aniken was a hell of a jedi knight but master he was not. snips was a 1 in 1000 Palawan fit for aniken or else she wouldn't be much of a jedi either. ppl forget force potential is only a fraction of what you need to be a powerful jedi

being a jedi master has nothing to do with how good you are at combat, being a knight does but only to a certain level. People like to forget that it's a spiritual order and a religion, not a military but I suppose they forgot that too in the end

In terms of prequels era Jedi, I’m not sure they’d make him a master. But in terms of old republic Jedi, he would be a master. (Grandmaster Satele Shan had a relationship with a republic trooper and the Jedi didn’t really care)

I think in terms of raw power and saber skills ani was better….but that being said I do believe that kanan definitely embodied what it meant to be a jedi and would have made a much better Jedi master.
