Idk why everyone’s hating on it cause I rlly love it lol. I thought it was a really raw representation of depression and the struggles of women at the time. I think it’s a really refreshing book to read if ur into that kinda stuff esp with how censored depression and struggles like that are rn.

Presley Pendergrass :

It’s a little dated but ultimately really important in the canon of American literature and is one of the rawest representations of depression ever put to paper. Highly recommend and her poetry is some of the best ever written.

I personally like to study people’s minds and what goes on in their life and the process of it rather then the climax point and side stories. So for me, yes it’s definitely worth buying

I really liked it but some people think it's boring. I will say it's a bit slow especially at the beginning and has one line that's really racist but if you read any books from that time period it's guaranteed.

I read this and actually loved it. I would say it’s pretty dark, a good book to read quickly. But some really prolific writing. Sylvia Plath poured her heart and soul into this novel

guys stop this is my new fav book. i sat down and read the whole thing in 4 hours. everything about it is so good. the writing is unlike anything i have ever read. you do have to kinda understand the time period it was written but please i beg that you give it a chance
