Since they are 1000% going to It chapter 2 Stranger Things in the future, I personally cannot see them revisiting Stranger Things without El she's quite literally the whole show aka the character that draws the big bucks, so for now we can debate all we want whether she's dead or alive but it's inevitable for her to return when they eventually do revisit Stranger Things in the future
