all these people in the comments talking about the combat are insane! 1 was so clunky! 2s combat is way more fluid while it simplifies it also enhances with more diverse combos and killing moves. I loved 1's combat because it got rewarding the more you progressed. but in two I truely felt like a knight becoming a legend like Henry in 2 the combat evolved

Thematically 1’s combat is better bc the more you train with Bernard it feels like you are able to take on higher tier bandits, knights, and even mobs sometimes
