When Na is alone , it is very dangerous because it isn’t stable , it has one electron in it outer most shell which makes it unstable and very reactive and this causes it to be dangerous, Chlorine also being 17 need an electron to become stable , the 7 electron in its outer most shell causes it to be dangerous because they aren’t stable
