i worked my full shift puking in between patients before I got help for the kidney stone. i thought it was low back pain. It was huge had to blow it up with ultrasound. men aren't made to take pain like that.

EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act) means that they either have to treat you or provide appropriate transportation if they can not stabilize you, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. As a former ER registrar I was not even allowed to ask for insurance until patients were triaged and in a room. Obviously a situation of racism and or classism.

Jesus Christ once you check in should u feel ur symptoms are worsening return to the window and ask for your vitals to be recollected! A kidney stone can be deadly although it’s more pressure then pain regardless for profit hospitals need to do better

thats ok a hospital kicked out a pregnant woman in labor telling her she wasn't far enough along or something and she ended up giving birth in her car on the way to a different hospital 🥺🥺 hospital staff just dont gaf anymore and they always think they are right even when they clearly are not
