As a girl who has always been animal obsessed, watching the elephants splash, play, and move so gracefully in their natural environment was pure magic. My guides were full of knowledge and passion, sharing stories that made me appreciate how crucial wildlife conservation is for the future of our planet. Touring the elephant hospital, learning about their breeding and training programs, and seeing how sustainable food is produced for them made me realise just how much care and dedication goes into giving these incredible animals a second chance. Situated in the jungle and surrounded by a peaceful lake, the center made me feel completely immersed in their world.
