Other modern cases to mention which fall short of what I’m talking about here: Sudam Hussein was captured by US forces - but tried by Iraq, not the US. Gaddafi was killed during Libya’s 2011 civil war after being captured by Libyan rebels + Milošević was arrested by Serbian authorities and handed over to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague.

Technically, according to Venezuela’s own citizens, Maduro wasn’t their president or leader. He was a tyrant that decided to hold power after he lost his election. So the US just stepped in and removed a tyrannical terrorist.

Some of the people making these comments should go look up TikTok’s made by actual Venezuela and how they feel about Trump arresting the dictator of Venezuela. They finally have a slice of hope that the hell they have been in for 26 years hopefully is coming to an end.
