My little girl also has luxating patella on both knees. Been doing hydro for a year now and she doesnt need surgery 🥳 no hate but just genuinely wondering, is your dog running? I’m pretty sure they’re not supposed to because it puts too much strain on their knees. The goal for hydro accdg to our hydrotherapist is to build muscle strength and to make sure our dogs take the correct stride to ensure they are using the correct muscles which avoids strain.

hi! my dog had luxating patella too and had surgery. he was recommended a certain daily physical therapy exercise at home that we did to him after 1.5 months of limping after the surgery. our vet taught it before recommending hydro therpy. would you mind if I dm you a video of the home therapy exercise we do? hope i could help! :)

my dog has grade 2 lux patella too. we are considering rehab. quoted at $2400 ish for 10 sessions. is this comparable?
