As a makeup artist, technically make up doesn’t expire in the sense that 1: it’s not gonna be the same quality as when you first got it because it’s probably oxidized and the ingredients have broke down 2: That expiration date is because the average consumer doesn’t know how to apply make up Like a cosmetologist so the bacteria in the product builds up, but that wouldn’t happen if you were applying make up in a sanitary way meaning no double dipping and sanitizing the pallet afterwards
