What are some examples of different coping mechanisms?

Lauren :
Serious question because I struggle with this. Is it okay to give in to the noise when you make mindful lower calorie swaps? Like I love sour candy. So I do frozen grapes with jello powder sprinkled on them to get the fix. Or eat a green apple. Then for chocolate I do like 2 Hershey kisses to keep from derailing. Otherwise I feel like I make rational negotiations with myself. Like do I want this bad enough to miss something else later today? And go from there.

I love doing my lips and have so much makeup I have to use up. So I redo my lip combo. Suddenly I’m not hungry anymore

You’ve helped me a lot! I’ve been following my hunger/fullness cues (a concept that had truly never occurred to me 😂) the last few months and stopped counting calories - no weight increase!

Replacement idea for y’all: 100 piece puzzles! Super cheap at five below & my mind can only focus on putting it together.
