tbh my humor is very rude, but I only use it around friends I KNOW don't mind my humor and don't take it to heart. I have friends who don't like that and I simply don't use that type of humor around them. so the "it's just my sense of humor" excuse is simply not valid

HEAVY ONE THE FIRST ONE! Side rant but this happened a couple moths ago and me and my best friend who is called g were going through a bit of a fight (we are fine now) and I was venting to this girl and I had said to her I never want to loose my best friend cause she means the world to me then later on mentions a different friend and called them my then their name and she told g that I had said I don’t want to be her friend anymore like hello I just told you I didn’t want to loose her and g believe her till I had show her all the proof of othertikes she was lied to

I don’t really agree with instantly dropping someone over a joke. If I ever made a joke that crossed a line or made you uncomfortable and you told me that, I would never make that kind of joke again. But cutting someone off immediately feels extreme to me. With my friends, we joke around and tease each other because there’s love and trust there! it’s never meant to tear someone down or target insecurities. It’s that kind of playful, mutual joking, where if something actually hurts, it gets called out and respected. That’s the kind of humor I thought we were talking about.
