@movieluts: World of Glory (1991) is a short film about a plain, ordinary man who calmly tells us about his job as a real-estate broker, his dead father, and his unremarkable home. He speaks in a flat, naturalistic voice, completely emotionless, staring straight into the camera. A funny coincidence is that it’s directed by Roy Andersson. With this style, you can’t help but imagine him as Wes Anderson’s evil twin. Or maybe I should say… East Anderson.
