hi ernie, my first trade was buying BA stocks and the commission was over $100! this was 1989 and my little brother got a job there, my dad said your brother is there so the stock will go up. 😂😂 I sold BA in 1996 with $19.95 commission because I dialed into the server (no internet yet). In 2023, I decided to learn options and lost a lot! glad to learn from you in 2025 and in the positive!

In my 20s, doing lump sum on Monday inside of roth. I see you recommend VOO, but I see SPYM is cheaper per stock and has a lower expense ratio. Isn't it better to do SPYM for the long run?
